Exploration Through Clay
In this workshop, we explore clay as a dynamic material that invites children to create, express, and investigate. Educators will learn about the properties of clay, how to prepare and care for the material, and how to design engaging setups for infants through preschoolers.
We will look at practical ideas and classroom examples, highlighting how clay experiences nurture early literacy, math, science, and sensory development. Together, we’ll reflect on how clay supports children’s curiosity and encourages deep, meaningful learning inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.
